The Blooming Stitches Headband is the perfect introduction to stranded colour work and the perfect stash buster too!

The headband is knitted from the bottom up in the round with only 2 colours used per round and no need to catch floats. You can choose between 2 to 7 colours over a simple 8 stitch repeat. Charts and written instructions are included for using 6 different yarn weights from DK to super chunky.

For adventurous beginners, the pattern includes charts, written instructions, handy tips and a video for stranded colour work.

Yarn weights ~

DK, worsted/aran, light chunky, chunky, light super chunky and super chunky.

Suggested Yarn ~

Any yarn can be substituted when the gauge is met and a suitable fabric is achieved. Yarn used in the images for the listing includes Malabrigo Dos Tierras, Rios, Mecha, Chunky, Noventa, Rasta and Rowan Felted tweed.

Size ~

The pattern is written for adults/teens but can be adjusted in multiples of 8 stitches.
