This beanie creates a light-weight (think: autumn or spring) beanie that can be worn as a slouchy hat or as a tighter beanie - all with the same construction.

Using any fingering weight yarn, you can customize this pattern by making it longer or shorter as you see fit. As it is written, it should fit a “standard” head size of 21-23”. This fit is a snug fit when the brim is turned up, and a looser slouchy fit when the brim is left down.

The beads provide a unique design element that seems to kick it up a notch.

Testers have commented:
“Loving the subtle beading. It is my first time knitting with beads. I am using the crochet hook method and finding it so easy.”
“Thank you, I’m loving knitting this pattern so much xx”
“I just know I am always going to have one of these beanies on my needles. I can’t put it down <3”

Happy knitting!
