The Cherry Sorbet Socks are a perfect beginner pattern using a very easy stitch pattern to creat the swirley effect.

The socks are worked from the cuff down and the toes are grafted using the Kitchener Stitch.

The socks come in three sizes (measured by the circumference of the foot): S (7’’ / 18cm), M (8’’ / 20cm) and L (9’’ / 23cm).

MATERIALS

You’ll need one skein of fingering weight sock yarn and if you want to knit your cuff, heel and toes in a different colour a mini skein of contrasting yarn. For my socks I used Hedgehog Fibres in “Sari” as my main colour and Myboshi Sock Yarn in “Natural” as my contrasting colour.

A set of US size 1 (2.25mm) DPN’s or 9” circular knitting needles or 32” circular knitting needles, whichever is your prefered method for working a small sock circumference in the round.

A tapestry needle to weave in loose ends.
