Curves
Curves shines with 100% Mulberry silk, which slides gently through the hands while knitting. It is an easy project, with lots of repetition, and with knitting in garter stitch. A great project for beginners, or for relaxing.
This shawl uses short row curves. Short rows are worked in long and narrow rows. The short curves do not curve one side, like an armhole does, but the entire fabric, from one side to another. This is done with a series of small, wedge-shaped pattern repeats, one set on top of the other. One side of the wedge will have more rows than the other, and the whole fabric takes on a smooth, consistent curve.
Knit until you like the length.
Different yarn selection will result in different feel and size of finished shawl.
