DAPPLED

Lovely cabled beanie, slightly slouchy but not too much to show off the cables. Inspired by a dear friend, who is as organic and earthy as the colors used. The lighter color in the skein contrast nicely with the darker shadows creating a dappled effect. Thus the name, reminds me of a hike in our lovely Alberta’s forests.

Instructions are charted and written out row by row.
Skills needed: cabling, knit, purl

Yarn used: Malabrigo Rios in color Hojas (1 skein)

Needle: size 7 US 16 in circular, and same size DPNS, cable needle for cables or use one of the DPNs.

In sizes S, (M, L) head circumference 18,(20, 22) inches

Gauge : 20 st/ 32 rows in a 4 in/10 cm blocked swatch in the ribbing pattern using size 7 US needles.
