This pattern is written for 4 yarn weights: DK, Worsted, Light Bulky and Bulky.

Pattern is written to fit an average adult female head (approximately 8” in wide and 9” tall and fits circumference of 21-22”). The size can be adjusted by adding/subtracting multiples of 16 from the cast on stitches.

-Light bulky – 110-120 yards (example: Malabrigo Mecha, Lion Brand Scarfie)
-Bulky – 90-100 yards (example: Malabrigo Chunky, Fainting Goat Fiber Co. bulky extra fine merino)

Needles:
-DK – Size US4 (3.5mm) and US6 (4mm) 16” circular needles, size US6 (4mm) DPNs (optional)
-Worsted – Size US6 (4mm) and size US8 (5mm) 16” circular needles, size US8 (5mm) DPNs (optional)
-Light bulky – Size US8 (5mm) and size US10 (6mm) 16” circular needles, size US10 (6mm) DPNs (optional)
-Bulky – Size US10 (6mm) and size US11 (8mm) 16” circular needles, size US11 (8mm) DPNs (optional)

Gauge (on larger size needles, knit flat in stockinette, unblocked):
-Bulky – 4x4”/10cm = 11 sts x 16 rows
-Light bulky – 4x4”/10cm = 14 sts x 20 rows
-Worsted – 4x4”/10cm = 16 sts x 22 rows
-DK – 4x4”/10cm = 21 sts x 25 rows
