This pattern is written for two weights: worsted and light bulky.

Level: Advanced beginner/intermediate

Size: Approximately 9” (23cm) wide and 9” (23cm) tall; comfortably fits heads 21-23” (53-58 cm) in circumference

Skills required:
-knitting in the round
-cable knitting
-decreases and cinching closed

Yarn:
-Light bulky -- 110-125 yards (example: Malabrigo Mecha)
-Worsted -- 130-150 yards (example: Malabrigo Rios)

Needles:
-Light bulky – Size US8 (5 mm) and US10 (6 mm) 16” circular needles, size US10 (6 mm) DPNs (optional)
-Worsted – Size US6 (4 mm) and US8 (5 mm) 16” circular needles, size US8 (5 mm) DPNs (optional)

Gauge (knit on larger size needles in stockinette, unblocked):
-Light bulky – 4x4”(10x10 cm) = 14 sts x 20 rows
-Worsted – 4x4” (10x10 cm) = 16 sts x 22 rows
