Designed to fit the American Girl® and other 18” dolls,
this versatile cardigan comes with three sleeve variations.
It is knit all in one piece, from the top down. There are
NO side seams; in fact, the only seams needed are on
the underarm of the raglan sleeves. It has a special “fast
and easy” eyelet cable that does NOT require a cable
needle. The sweater closes in front with buttons and
has a Garter Stitch band at the hem. It can be made with
or without the collar, which is worked in a seed stitch.
The cable makes a wonderful detail all on it’s own or you
can embellish it with embroidery and bead-work for a
three dimensional effect.
