NOTE Pick 4 of my patterns for the price of 3!

Rectangular shaped, knitted on the slant, Flowering Wrap has interest both as a work in progress and a finished object.
The pattern is versatile, could really be knitted in any yarn weight, and you can add or withdraw repetitions both in width and length to get your favorite shaped wrap. For my 2 versions here however I choose Wollmeise lace, a fine fingering/heavy lace weight yarn AND Nutiden, an unspun Swedish yarn held together with Alpaca lace. Instructions in the pattern tell the story of those 2 versions.

Material
Yarn The samples were knitted in
Nutiden unspun wool, I used 2 plates ( the Nutiden yarn is sold in plates/wheels), about 1000 meters held together with Holst Titicaca, lace alpaca yarn, about 1000 meters
or
Wollmeise lace, one skein 300 grams/1575 meters.
Needles For Nutiden wrap 6.5 mm/US10,5 and for Wollmeise lace wrap 3.75 mm/US 5.
Notions a couple of stitch markers, a darning needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge
The gauge is given after blocking. The gauge is not crucial for a wrap, it’s more important that you like the fabric, but for appreciation of finished size you might take it into consideration.
For Nutiden wrap 13 sts and 18 rows/10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette.
For Wollmeise lace wrap 22 sts and 36 rows/10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette.

The pattern is testknitted.
It has a scematic, written instructions and charts.
