This victorian-look collar is a light and airy wardrobe accessory that will spiff up a simple tee or dress. But its pink color is because I recently learned about The Pink Scarf Project that supports women dealing with breast cancer from this blog http://vicki-2bagsfull.blogspot.com/search?q=pink+scarf. I wanted to get on board for that battle with this design. I hope you will too. The collar takes less than 1 skein of Caron Simply Soft yarn and the directions for the crocheted rose are included in the pattern. The Caron Simply Soft yarn is soft and drapey and it’s open enough at the neck that it won’t feel confining. It’s feminine and of course, the Victorian pink color identifies the wearer and the knitter with the express moral support for women with breast cancer.
