Make your own colorful cephalopod! The 22 page pattern includes detailed step-by-step photos and clear written instructions to make an amigurumi-style Hawaiian Bobtail Squid. This pattern has been fully tested by multiple testers. Includes yarn amounts and hook sizes to make a squid using DK weight or Worsted weight yarn.

To make a large squid using Worsted weight yarn you will need:
G (4/4.25mm) crochet hook
Approximately 100 yds of Worsted Weight yarn
One pair of 21mm or 24mm cat pupil plastic safety eyes
Poly-fil or other stuffing
Darning needle

To make a small squid using DK weight yarn you will need:
E (3.5mm) crochet hook
Approximately 80 yds of DK Weight yarn
One pair of 18mm cat pupil plastic safety eyes
Poly-fil or other stuffing
Darning needle

A finished bobtail squid in worsted weight yarn made using this pattern measures approximately 9.5” long from tentacle tip to back of mantle and 5” wide from fin to fin. A finished bobtail squid in DK weight yarn made using this patterns measures approximately 8” long from tentacle to back of mantle and 4” wide from fin to fin.

Recommended for Intermediate skill level. Pattern in English, using US Crochet terminology.
