Make your own Orca! The 52 page pattern includes detailed step-by-step photos and clear written instructions to make an amigurumi-style Orca. PLUS there is a 17 page printer-friendly TEXT ONLY version at the end of the pattern. This pattern has been fully tested by multiple testers. Includes yarn amounts and hook sizes to make an Orca using Worsted weight yarn.

A finished Orca made using Worsted Weight yarn and a 4mm hook is approximately 12” long from nose to tail flukes, 5” tall from dorsal fin to belly, and 8” wide from flipper to flipper.

Recommended for ADVANCED SKILL LEVEL. This pattern uses unusual construction techniques to create the open mouth. These are supplemented by detailed instructions and photographs. This pattern also uses colorwork/tapestry crochet. This does not provide a tutorial for the basics of colorwork crochet.

To make an Orca using Worsted weight yarn you will need:
Approximately yardage for Worsted weight yarn:
15 yds of red/pink yarn
108 yds of black yarn
61 yds of white yarn
Optional: 8 yds of grey yarn
AND
G (4/4.25mm) crochet hook
One pair of 12mm plastic safety eyes
Poly-fil or other stuffing
Darning needle
Stitch markers
