You want to make something for your man but do not want to knit again a basic stockinette or ribbed hat? This one he might wear, but cannot guarantee it, as men, well, they are men.

The textured hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The pattern gives you two options for the brim, normal and sloped one shaped with short rows, knit either one.

The finished hat has a slouchy fit, but if you want a more fitted beanie, use smaller needle for the body of the hat and start the crown earlier.
