❄️ Joy to the mantel

Trimming the house for the holidays is one of my favorite pastimes. Christmas stockings are a staple of holiday decor, and this Joy Stocking is heirloom quality, made to be enjoyed for years to come.

It’s a fun, relaxing project to work up by the fire. The cables are worked in Infinity Crochet, where every post stitch floats on a consistent background stitch that never gets skipped. The cables sit higher than traditional raised stitches, and the main fabric keeps an undisturbed gauge.

• Hook: H (5.0mm)
