This is a simple, quick design that allows you to extend the holiday spirit to the furry members of your family. Create precious Christmas memories of your kitty decked out with his or her own Santa hat.

Use any worsted weight yarn. I have used:

Caron Simply Soft in Red. I needed approximately 45 yards for my final dimensions of 7.5” tall x 5” wide at the widest part.

Fur yarn - White (I used Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Snuggle Up Yarn 5 yards). You can of course use any regular worsted weight white yarn instead of fur yarn. For consistency of your stitches, it should ideally be the same brand as the red yarn that you choose.

Hook sizes E/3.5 mm and F/3.75 mm

Stitches used:
Magic circle
Single Crochet
Inc - increase (2 sc in same st)
Slip Stitch

This pattern is worked from the top down in the round and does not join each round.
