Kleine Hazel English below…

In diesem Tuch moderater Größe, übernimmt das von mir entworfene Hazel-Muster die Hauptrolle.
Wie bei ihrer großen Schwester, dem Hazel Shawl, wird auch die KIeine Hazel durch einen Rollrand eingerahmt. In dieser Anleitung stricken wir ihn zuerst und sammeln danach mit Hilfe verkürzter Reihen, links und rechts der Mitte die Haselnüsschen ein.

Größe
Gestrickt aus der Bio Balance von BC Garn auf 3,0 mm Nadeln hat mein Tuch eine Tiefe von 33 cm und eine obere Breite von 160 cm.

Maschenprobe
22 M auf 38 Reihen, glatt rechts, gewaschen und gespannt.
Falls du ein abweichendes Garn verwendest, empfehle ich dir, das gewählte Garn zu testen, so dass das Tuch einen angenehm fließenden und lockeren Fall erhält und du die passende obere Weite erhältst.
Du kannst die Zahl der Maschen dem gewählten Garn anpassen, Hinweis dazu in der Anleitung.

Garnvorschlag
Bio Balance von BC Garn, Farbe 27, (LL 225 m/50 g), Nd 3 mm,
Verbrauch ca. 90 g (ca. 390 m)
Bitte beachte, dass sich der Verbrauch durch deine Strickfestigkeit, die verwendete Nadelstärke und das verwendete Garn verändern kann, plane deshalb genügend Garn ein. Hinweise zum Vergrößern und Verkleinern des Tuches findest du in der Anleitung.

1 Rundstricknadel, Stärke passend zum Garn, mit mindestens 100 cm langem Seil,
1 Rundstricknadel, 0,25 – 0,5 mm dünner als die verwendete Nadel, 100 cm lang,
8 Maschenmarkierer oder nach Bedarf,
Nähnadel zum Vernähen,
evtl. Reihenzähler

Kleine Hazel

Kleine Hazel, „Little Hazel“, features the same cute stitch pattern as her bigger sister, the Hazel Shawl.
Just like the larger version, the smaller shawl is framed by rolled edges. Cute little hazelnuts line up between them. Starting with the maximum of stitches for the longest edge of the shawl, you shape a triangle with short rows and by adding stitches of the cord-like edge to the body of the shawl.

Size
Knitted with Bio Balance by BC Garn and using 3.00 mm (US 2.5) needles, my Kleine Hazel has a wingspan of 160 cm (63“) and a depth of 33 cm (13“).

Gauge
22 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4“), worked in stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking.
If you want to use a different yarn, I recommend to work a swatch in order to see whether it gives you a nice drape.
If your gauge differs, you can adjust the number of cast-on stitches: Cast on more or less stitches in multiples of 12. Please note that this will affect the amount of yarn used.

Yarn suggestion
Bio Balance by BC Garn, colour 27, yardage 225 m (246 yds)/50 g.
Using a 3 mm (US 2.5) needle, I used approx. 85 g/385 m (421 yds).
Please note that the amount of yarn needed varies with your knitting tension and your needle size.
Please find notes on adapting the size of the shawl in the pattern.

1 circular knitting needle, matching your yarn, cable length at least 100 cm (40“)
1 circular knitting needle, one or two sizes thinner than your working needle, cable length at least 100 cm (40“)
