Amongst the berries (all of which deserve love and are oh so tasty) the strawberry has an undeniably adorable aesthetic. Who doesn’t love the look of a delicious, ripe strawberry? So then, why not wear them? This shawl pattern takes the shape of a strawberry and turns it into a classic crochet motif that can be worn as a breezy spring to summer cover or modified into a light square blanket.

All my patterns assume a basic knowledge of crochet techniques, and any special stiches used will be explained as needed. This pattern is: Beginner to Intermediate Level. There is some color work in this pattern, along with free from crochet concepts which include attaching crochet to crochet.

I don’t remember what yarn I used to make this, but it would look adorable in a Caron Cloud I’m sure! It is likely best to pick a yarn that is weight 3 or smaller for both colors necessary for this pattern, though a thicker green could add some texture to this work, so feel free to experiment!

Thank you so much for considering my pattern! Please favorite my shop and be first to know when new patterns or drops are posted. Love and light to all of you, fellow travelers, and happy crafting!!
