LINJE Cowl
LINJE Cowl is a technique-focused project in two-colour brioche, where structure, contrast and colour rhythm are central.
The cowl is worked in the round from a knitted I-cord edge. Stitches are picked up from the cord and built in two-pass rounds (one pass with each colour), allowing you to clearly understand the relationship between brioche stitches (brk / brp), yarn overs and vertical alignment. The contrasting columns create a calm, graphic expression while making the stitch structure easier to read as you knit.
The project is particularly suitable if you want to:
• build confidence in two-colour brioche
• learn to recognise and read brioche stitches
• understand yarn over placement and stitch pairing
• improve tension control in elastic fabric
The I-cord cast-on and cast-off frame and stabilise the elastic brioche, creating a cohesive and reversible accessory.
