LINJE Neck Warmer
LINE Neck Warmer is a technique-building project in two-color brioche, where structure and color logic are in focus.
The neck warmer is worked from the top down and allows you to systematically explore the structure of brioche rib: the interaction between stitches and yarn overs, the rhythm of the color changes, and the vertical flow of the columns. The contrasting lines create a calm, graphic expression while helping you read the stitch pattern as you knit.
The project is particularly suitable if you want to:
build confidence in two-color brioche
learn to recognize and “read” brioche
work with increases integrated into the structure
understand how shaping affects the knitted fabric
The increases form a gentle, circular drape over the shoulders, supporting your ability to maintain the rhythm of the structure as the fabric grows. The repetition creates a steady and mindful knitting process.
The elasticity of brioche gives the piece depth and flexibility, allowing it to mold comfortably around the neck and shoulders. The neck warmer is reversible and can be finished with either a decorative picot bind-off or a clean, simple edge.
