This pattern is one of my most popular designs both in pattern and finished product. Both of which are available to buy from my Folksy shop. A stunning hat that always receives compliments when worn.

This pattern uses Aran weight and is knitted using UK 4mm knitting needles. Each hat will have 12 fox faces running round the entire circumference of the hat. My pattern is written for an adult hat size medium, this pattern can easily be made smaller by using 10 less stitches or bigger by adding 10 more stitches.

The hat uses 3 contrasting shades of yarn and a mixture of rib stitch for the brim and stockinette for the main body of the hat.

The overall weight of Aran yarn used is 100g. You will need a 2 inch pom pom maker and a darning needle. I usually make a pom pom using all three shades of yarn used, however I have used a faux fur pom pom in the past and this is also stunning.
