Newport Waves Hat was inspired by the rolling waves of Brenton Point State Park in Newport, RI. The ocean scenery changes with the time of day, cloud cover and wind strength and directions. The waves and ocean color are always different. The constant motion of the sea both relaxes and refreshes the soul. This hat is a fun, relaxing and quick knit.

The hat uses two skeins, one light and one dark colored, of DK yarn for a mosaic shadow pattern. The pattern is easy and uses only one color every 2 two rows. You slip the stitch of the color that you are not using in the row. The hat sizing will fit a toddler, child, teen and adult woman and man.
