Oddly Enough!
Oddly Enough…..
• I had one lonely skein of beautiful worsted weight yarn.
• I had an idea and couldn’t wait to try it.
• It worked even better than I thought.
• The pattern is so simple it can be memorized very easily.
• No chart is required to knit this simple lace.
• It looks good on both sides even though they are different.
• It’s all because of one extra stitch!
• And the fabric is “Squishy, Springy, Bouncy, Boingy!”
A moebius cowl is such fun to make and also to wear. As designed, this cowl fits fairly close to the neck. It can be made larger by adding stitches in multiples of 5. Please have additional yarn if you want to make it larger.
A link to Cat Bordhi’s Moebius Cast On is provided in the pattern.
The pattern is easily customizable by adding stitches and would suit DK to Bulky weight yarn. Two fingerings could also be held together or a fingering and a silky/mohair lace strand. If choosing a different yarn weight, be sure to allow for different yardage and use a needle appropriate for the yarn.
Two different bind-off options are provided in the pattern.
