‘Pado Pullover’ is a drop shoulder garment which is worked from bottom up with a seamless body. First work the body, then separate front and back to work on each part, then connect both corresponding shoulders and work the neck band. Then, pick up sts to work the sleeves.

Pado Pullover is an intermediate level pattern using some techniques that may be difficult for those not familiar with knitting. The pattern is written in paragraph form including charts and English abbreviations. Since it does not include tutorials of german short rows, picking up sts, and/or reading knitting charts, please familiarize yourself with those techniques beforehand through youtube or guide books.

The S size sample is knitted with 2 strands of Somsom knit’s Smoothie Navy color while the M size sample is knitted with 1 strand of Somsom knit’s Uh-poo. Both yarns are very suitable for knitting summer garments, and has the same gauge for this pattern. Smoothie offers lighter textured garment with a more cooling feature while Uh-poo offers a draping characteristic that wraps around your body line due to its relatively heavier weight. Choose whichever yarn to your liking.

‘Pado Pullover’, designed as a lace pattern, is intended to be cooling and give a neat impression. You can choose to work the length as the sample for a more day-to-day look, or make it shorter to work a cropped version. This pullover may be used in various ways such as staying warm under an air-conditioner, blocking the blazing sunlight, or even as a cover up on top of bathing suits. Hope you enjoy your time knitting the Pado Pullover.

  • Size TIP; 5-10 cm ease from bust circumference is recommended for standard fit, 15-20cm for a looser fit. If you are working with Uh-poo, work a little shorter in body length since Uh-poo tends to drapes down a little.

  • Pattern chart is on 4pg, so when you check your gauge be sure to work with the chart.
