This beanie is the building blocks for the majority of all of my hat designs. I have been knitting a version of this hat since I was a child.

This pattern is ideal for adding colour work to and once you have mastered this pattern the options for adapting the pattern are endless.

The pattern uses 1x1 rib and stockinette with a k2tog decrease.

The Beanie is knitted using 70g Aran weight yarn. You will require a pom pom maker, however this beanie can be worn without a pom pom and will be equally as stunning.
