I think I say “keep your hat on!” about eighty times a day to my very independent toddler! When I designed this hat I wanted cables, a double brim, a big pompom….and of course a set of ties!

This hat may be the perfect toque for a toddler: lush cables, a double folded brim to keep those little ears warm, and ties to keep that hat on! Available in both a toddler and a child size, the Whitecourt hat features an easy to knit medallion cable motif and slip stitch detail - and works up in no time!

Size:
Toddler (18 months - 3 years): fits 19” (48 cm) circumference, 7.5” (19 cm) tall
Child (4-10 years): fits 21” (53 cm) circumference, 8” (20 cm) tall

Yarn:
Any springy worsted weight

Toddler: approx 165 yards
Child: approx 175 yards
