The Yoru Scarf is a lightweight lace scarf inspired by evening light. Designed with a strand of fingering weight, singly ply wool held together with lace weight mohair silk, it creates a soft, luminous fabric that highlights the depth and movement of tonal hand-dyed yarn. The airy lace pattern allows the scarf to drape effortlessly, making it an elegant layer for cool-weather wear from fall through spring.

Difficulty: Intermediate.

It is a lace knitting pattern and is not recommended for true beginners, but it would make a great first lace project for knitters who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and are ready to try yarn overs and lace decreases. Attention to stitch count and pattern repeats is required, but the lace motif becomes intuitive with repetition.
