Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This design was born May 2020, deep in upheaval: a pandemic, a move, losses, and new beginnings. I was also inspired by the iconic collar of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, having no idea 2020 would take her too. So I named this shawl in her honor and all those we lost. This simple asymmetric garter stitch shawl uses color changes and lace to keep...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I was inspired by the yarn Dream in Color Mod Squad: it reminded me of Bismuth. Cubix was born. But it would be gorgeous in any color combination! A variegated yarn and a solid or tonal yarn is really what this shawl was designed around.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This cozy shawl gives you a splash of color and a different construction. Worked sideways and with short rows you get a fun knit and real head turner. The lace panel and color work pops in a sea of garter stitch.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This lacy, light scarf can be worn as a scarf or a small shawlette. This pattern is also a great introduction to short rows, there are no wraps, just a simple turn. This was a featured pattern in the 2018 The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas, named Yarn Crawl Scarf 2018 in the printed pattern.

This lovely stole, inspired by the ocean, has delicate shells in the edging and cresting waves in the body. It can be altered down for a scarf.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I wanted to capture the famous Don Quixote in a shawl, from the windmills he fought to his lance and spear. I first designed this as a nursing shawl (in worsted weight, using size 8) and I loved knitting it up so much, I wrote up a lace weight and fingering version as well (2 skeins of 100g fingering weight, on a size US 6).
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a classic story of yarn meets girl, girl designs shawl around yarn. I love Lilacs and when I first moved to South Texas, as a teen, I was overjoyed to see them here, too. But, what I thought were Lilacs were actually blooming Mountain Laurel trees. No matter, they are still gorgeous! As it happens the genus name for this pretty tree is ...

Knitting: Scarf
The yarn I used was the inspiration for this scarf, it’s a sugar cane fiber called Sugar Rush from Queensland Collection. It’s SO soft and it gives crisp stitch definition. The rows of eyelets undulate thru the scarf and the eyelets themselves are threaded with ribbon, making the scarf very versatile. By drawing up the ribbons you can make a co...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These cute fingerless mitts can be knit for kids, woman and men. They are also extra long, so they also bridge the gap between your coat and your hands.
Knitting: Scarf
As I was browsing in my Local Yarn Shop, this skein of Handmaiden’s Sea Silk jumped out and inspired me to create a scarf with a Grecian Military theme. Thus was born Aegis (pronounced E-jis), the shield of Athena the Greek goddess of strategic warfare. If you look closely the pattern resembles what looks like rows and rows of Greek soldiers wi...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
The original pictured was knit with Bernat Baby Coordinates and Bernat Baby Coordinates-Sweet Stripes. I used nearly 2 balls of the Coordinates for the main body and about half or more of the Sweet Stripes for the border.
