Faux Lace Shawl is a fun triangle shawl that gets it’s lacy look by dropping stitches. You can use any yarn you would like with this easy going shawl because you easily start to decrease when you have used up half of your allotted yarn. I used a beautiful yarn by Cloudborn with approximately 400 yards using a needle size of US 5 (3.75mm).

Orchid contains a cable that reminds me of the dainty orchid leaf. These leaves slowly emerge again and again from the center of the plant. The gartered section of the scarf is created by slowly increasing just to the side of the cable.

Shellie Keyhole Scarf is a simple scarf. The pattern is easy to master and the neck portion is worked in all knit. Tiny cables worked just before and after the opening for the keyhole add that extra elegance to the scarf.
