Knitting: Poncho
This simple poncho is knit side to side in two rectangles that are joined at the shoulder after blocking. The Criss Cross stitch pattern creates the decorative design across the top of the poncho. The remaining open work is created by dropping stitches and unraveling them after completing the rectangles.

This pretty summer top is knit top down, in the round, with slight A-line shaping. An option for adding 3/4 sleeves is provided, making this top a good season transitioning piece. The pattern was originally written for the West Michigan Yarn Quest 2021.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I recently made a beautiful Sweetfern Hat using the pattern by Ragline Knits. That project turned out so well that I decided to design matching Sweetfern Mitts. I love the added texture from the slub fingering yarn.

This is a cool and comfortable summer poncho that provides just the right amount of coverage. The Seafoam pattern, when paired with cotton DK weight yarn, allows those summer breezes to flow but keeps the chill away. The pattern can also be used with wool yarns for a warmer alternative. Try it with a striping yarn such as Classic Elite Liberty ...

Knitting: Poncho
This beautiful design is reminiscent of a climbing plant supported by a trellis. Thus the name Trilix, the Latin root word from which the word trellis originates. Although many types of yarn can be used for this pattern, Cascade Yarn’s Ultra Pima gives the finished project a wonderful sheen and stitch definition.
