This basic hat was designed as a gift for a friend of mine, Jordan, who will be traveling to France this spring. As a thank you for all she did for our organization, this hat seemed appropriate.

Drehen is the German word for “Twist and spiral”. This hat encompasses that idea through the use of several different stitch designs spiraling throughout the design.

This is a super easy and almost mindless dishcloth; my first one only took about 3 hours to knit. Due to the nature of the ribbing, it is also very stretchy.

This is a fairly simple pattern, although I did find myself having to undo stitches several times due to distraction, so this is probably not a ‘mindless’ pattern. But either way I love the results. Either side is very pretty.
