Knitting: Throw
This is my go-to project for all those mini skeins. I love an advent kit as much as the next person, but there are only so many over-sized shawls I can use in my wardrobe. This is a simple design that looks good on both sides because of the slide and turn technique I’ve used. You also get to unravel the fringe around your blanket at the end! I’...
Knitting: Ankle Sock
I have recently fallen head over heels in love with shorty socks. I often use only a bit of a skein in a project, and I’m left wondering what to do with it. I also don’t personally wear a lot of tall socks, especially to sleep in. So these rolled cuffs have become the perfect sleep socks! I can easily kick them off in the night when I get too w...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Brush Strokes is my wrap-it-around-many-times shawl that never makes it into a drawer. The fantastic thing about this blended shawl is you can dive into all of your scraps, use those advent minis, or use a couple of full skeins. This pattern provides instructions for both. This is the perfect non-thinking design, too, as it’s mostly garter stit...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is my favorite kind of project – where stitch and row counts don’t matter. I designed this 2-skein shawl to be a fun, relaxing knit with easy repeats marked by stitch markers.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This toe-up sock pattern is for a medium foot, using a 64 stitch cast on. There are two versions of the pattern included as seen in the photo, slip stitch and faded. Both can easily be modified to suit your yardage and personal style.
Knitting: Cowl
If you have a basket of scrap yarn, you are in luck. This is a mindless, quick, and easy cowl that was designed for my young nieces but can easily be modified for a teen or adult by adding stitches in multiples of 4.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This triangular design is a great stash buster. And once you pick out your skeins, you can really use them all up. This sample used 5 colors, but you can certainly use the one color, 2 colors, or whatever fits your style!
Knitting: Scarf
Is it a wrap? Is it a scarf? Who knows! Wear it any way you want. This parallelogram design combines rows of garter that hug a beautiful section of eyelets. Just as I fell in love with the pinstripes, the eyelets quickly became my favorite until I started on the color blocks. I just couldn’t get enough of each section.
