Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is a great stash buster, and is suitable for home spun worsted weight yarn. The first (redish) example was knit with 100 yards of home spun merino and about 50 additional yards of Patons Classic Wool Merino. The second example (blue/purple) was made with a single skein of Loin Wool Prints.. (a 143 yard skein).
Knitting: Potholder
This is a pattern for a large (about 10 inches square/25 cm square) potholder. Gauge is not critical, because the potholder will be finished by shrinking it in hot water (in washing machine is best)
Knitting: Hats - Other
This double knit hat pattern creates a thick and plush warm hat for a large size head (finished size is 20 inches in diameter X 6.25 inches tall). The stitch pattern is Charted, only. The stitch pattern is naturally jogless--Nothing is required to have a smooth transition, and seamless appearance.
Knitting: Hanging Ornament
This is a RECIPE not a pattern--you can adapt this recipe to different yarns (sock yarn, DK, worsted) and different patterns (stripes, stranded work, plain stocking knit). These Easter eggs can be made as plain or fancy as you desire.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a quick and easy to knit slouch hat. The pattern includes several links, including a video tutorial on how to make the twisted stitches that are a feature of the ribbing.
Knitting: Collar
This Leafy Cowl is deep and fits as a collar around upper back and chest. It was first knit with some hand painted yarn (no longer available)--100 g yielded 247 yards. (Green/rose version) The second version was knit with some hand painted Paton’s Classic Wool--merino. Any worsted weight yarn about the same weight/yardage would work.

A updated PDF has been uploaded. The previous bit of errata has been corrected, and several other small typos corrected as well --Several lines had mismatched brackets.. (square ones paired with Paren’s).

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a deeply ribbed and cabled hat that is readily adjustable from small (newborn) to large (adults) sizes by changing yarn from fingering to Aran weight.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
A Stash Buster--this hat is a great way to use up partial and single balls of yarn. Designed to work in Aran or worsted weight, less than 100 yards of fancy yarn can be paired up with a simpler yarn of a similar weight to make a tweedy, one of kind hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat comes in 2 sizes--sizes are created by changing yarn/needles/gauge. The small size requires about 110 yards of DK weight yarn, (21stitch/4 inches) the large size needs about 125 yards of worsted (17stitches/4inches) Both sizes are loose fitting. The small size is about 18 inches, and the large, about 22 --because the has is so soft and...

Knitting: Headband
This pattern is designed for working on circular needles (short length ones or longer length via magic loop) but is easily adapted to working on DPN’s, (pattern includes notes on this)
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This sock has a deeply textured, rippling stitch pattern that looks like water cascading over hidden rocks. The texture does not fully stretch out, but remains evident even when worn.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The sample hat (green) was knit in Lion Brand Wool Ease, (green sparkle) --a discontinued tweed.
