Well, it’s FINALLY here - Kaleidoscope Hexagons 2! Thank you to everyone for your patience. I wanted to make sure everything was just right.

This is a pattern for knitted hexagons, that may be sewn into a lap blanket. The measurements are 52-inches by 49-inches. There are a total of 18 unique Persian designs inspired from the book, “The Grammar of Ornament” by Owen Jones

This hat gets its name from the fact that it uses a 38-stitch pattern repeat in the Fair Isle brim portion. I worked at many permutations until I achieved the right design that could properly repeat within the 152 stitches used for the hat. I came up with this pattern after a lot of trial and error. This entailed using different types of yarn with cast on stitches in addition to a pattern that has a proper stitch repeat that creates a hat that fits all.
