This is a pattern for yet another cabled headband. A few years ago I went looking and didn’t see one I liked,so I made my own. Now I find myself wanting to write out patterns and here it is.

Welcome to my happy rainbow blanket!

This hat came from a request from my sister for a chunky colourful hat. She chose super bulky yarn (I used Fleece Artist’s Tosca) and the largest needle I had was 6.5mm (US 10.5). The patterns I saw were all for bigger needles, so this hat was born. I knit it in about 3 hours total, so it’s a super quick and satisfying knit. Please enjoy!
