Crochet: Cowl
This design was created as a one skein project, specifically for Vegan Yarn UK Hyades Aran Weight Sock Yarn.
Crochet: Scarf
This design was inspired by the beauty of the Lake District in Cumbria in the UK, specifically the area surrounding Derwentwater.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
This pattern was initially designed when my Mum requested a bag for a wedding to match her outfit with the specific instruction of it being able to fit an A5 service sheet. I rose to the challenge and the Celtic Sun Bag was born.
Crochet: Earwarmers, Scarf
This pattern is a sister design to my Clouds and Raindrops Cowl. Both were inspired by the relief of rain after a hot, dry period of weather. Imagine when the rain falls and all is refreshed and sparkly.
Crochet: Floral block
15th August is the annual Granny Square Day, hosted by Simply Crochet Magazine, celebrating all things granny square. This pattern is my 2023 contribution to this day.
Crochet: Earrings, Necklace
This pattern details how to make a sea turtle, that is then used for earrings and as a necklace pendant. The necklace is made from my seaweed frond design, and the same pattern can be used to make a bracelet that is either a single band, or a multi-way wraparound.
Crochet: Cowl, Scarf
This pattern was originally designed to use the Vegan Yarn UK 2022 Advent. The advent colour-ways were based on images of space from the James Webb space telescope.
Crochet: Doily
This design was born on the eve before the full moon of May 2023 - the flower moon.
Crochet: Containers
During the testing circle for my pattern ‘Alba and Noctua Owls’, we all laughed at how the bodies would make lovely baskets…
Crochet: Animal Toy
These crochet owls were inspired by the Tyto Alba Crochet Top by
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This is the full pattern for our Vegan Yarn 2022 Mystery Crochet Along that ran from the 1st to 24th December 2022. The theme and final outcome was originally a mystery to those who crocheted along live.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This pattern was born out of using yarn made from seaweed, to try and match a knitting pattern by Adelle from Vegan Yarn (www.veganyarn.co.uk), but in crochet. If you look at Adelle’s Boxy Seaweed Top, we got pretty close!
Crochet: Cowl
This pattern was inspired by the relief of rain after a hot, dry period of weather. Imagine when the rain falls and all is refreshed and sparkly.
