I learned a little crochet from my grandmothers as a child, but never did much with it. After 40 years I picked up crochet again and spent a few years in a love-hate relationship with the craft - loving because holding the yarn and hook seemed so natural, but hating because my initial attempts were stitched so tightly I had a hard time getting gauge.

At some point it all just started to click. I joined Ravelry in December 2010 and since then I’ve been exposed to so many wonderful ideas and techniques. I recently became bi-stitchual!

My designs are the result of getting something stuck in my head that won’t go away until I work out how to crochet or knit it. I like figuring things out like that. I hope you like making my patterns.
