My ravelry friend, Margaret MacInnis, asked me to test knit a tutorial that she had worked up for knitting an outside-in pattern on 2 circulars. That was a new technique for me, and when I learn something new I like to start a second project immediately using the same technique to reinforce the learning. I love hexagons, but I didn’t find any outside-in hexagon patterns so I decided to make my own. This is my first time writing a knitting pattern. My testers did not find errors, but if you do please let me know!

You will need about 25-30 yards each of two colors of worsted weight yarn, one 16” circular needle size 4 or whatever size you need for your yarn, and a second circular or dpns of the same size.

I knitted my cloths using Dishie from Knit Picks. Mine measure about 7” across the flat sides. My testers used Sugar’n Cream and Peaches & Creme, and theirs ranged in size from 8” to 10” depending on gauge.

And speaking of testers, thank you to Chrissy, Kim, Mary, Kelly, and Keri for testing this pattern for me!
