Iris Schreier

Designer and founder of Artyarns. I couldn’t find the yarns I wanted to knit with so I created them to use in my designs and share with you.

I love designing patterns that are rhythmic and easy to follow after you have gotten the hang of the “system,” and dramatic at the same time. I get most excited when people ask: “How did you do that?”
I avoid small needles because I get easily distracted and need to finish quickly.

My true love is multidirectional knitting, and I’ve created a Craftsy Class so you can learn how to maximize the joy of both the knitting process and the end result.
