A short-sleeved, tie-front cardigan. Great for spring.

This shawl is knit sideways in one piece and the lace edging is knitted at the same time to create a beautiful seamless triangular shawl with simple eyelets and a lace border.

2 skeins Artyarns Cashmere Glitter (1 skein for Scarf version)

Materials

This unique top is extremely figure flattering, and enhances the waist in particular. The front is seamless and the back is seamless. For finishing just the shoulders and sides need to be seamed.

Pattern uses only 1 skein of Cashmere 1 ply.

Gauge: 1 repeat of Steps 1 and 2 in Pattern = 3-1/2” long x 6” wide

This pattern was designed by Sharon Sorken. This unique yarn has the body required for the pattern. Possible substitutions for the Beaded Mohair & Sequins are:

Pattern is made using Artyarns Cashmere Glitter, a new yarn that is 3 plys of Cashmere twisted with a glitter filament. I made it in color 2305 Silver.

2 (3) sks Artyarns Silk Mohair or Silk Mohair Glitter

A cable keyhole scarf that is open where every cable crosses, that lets you flexibly insert one end into the other every few inches, making the scarf loose or tight--up to you. Also has a multidirectional twist to give it added interest.

This scarf is worked from the bottom up, but is shaped as a center increase triangle, that grows to 37/39 sts, and at that point the edges are squared off, and the stitch count is maintained. At the top of the scarf, each side is squared off separately to achieve the straight top edge that matches the bottom edge.

11/14 started this design. It is really growing on me.

Embedded zigzag panels make knitting with variegated yarns so much fun. Continuous knitting technique using short rows means stitches are never picked up and yarn is not cut throughout.

Continuous mitered, actually “unmitered” squares which are knitted without binding off or picking up stitches. Uses short rows in this unusual construction that allows you to maximize the appeal of handpainted yarn. A great technique to learn.

This unusual shawl is constructed from the center outward using simple multidirectional knitting triangles. It is made continuously so that there are no stitches to be picked up and limited ends to weave in. Note how the two ends are completely symmetrical.
