You’ll notice that the designs I’ve shared here are simple ones, designed to be one-skein (or leftover yarn) projects that teach a basic or intermediate skill. And one of them, the Leaf Lace Scarf, was conceived in order to use a skein of laceweight Malabrigo in one of my favorite colors. Yarn and fiber is irresistible! When I pick up a ball or skein of yarn, I’m drawn to color first and tactile features next.
