Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2007/08: “ No blue-screen special effects needed to twist up Mari Lynn Patrick’s figure-skimming tee, stitched with ‘Loft Classic’ from Zitron/Skacel Collection. Traveling ribs form a graphic pattern that works into a center cable, while the back and short raglan sleeves twist and turn at the lower edges. The rest is straight ribbing.”

“Very close-fitting short sleeved pullover with traveling rib pattern on front. Sized for Small, Medium, Large, 1-X, 2-X and shown in size Small on page 99.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Note: the width measurements for each piece are for the fabric unstretched.
  • Small (Medium, Large, 1-X, 2-X)
  • Bust 32 (35, 38, 40½, 44)“/81 (89, 96.5, 103, 111.5)cm
  • Length 27½ (27½, 28, 28¾, 29½)“/70 (70, 71, 73, 75)cm
  • Upper Arm 10 (10, 11, 12½, 14)“/25.5 (25.5, 28, 32, 35.5)cm

Materials:

  • 8 (9, 10, 11, 12) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 110yd/100m) of Zitron/Skacel Collection Inc., Loft Classic (wool) in #1239 cobalt
  • One pair size 9 (5.5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
  • Cable needle

Notes:

  1. The cable shifting that appears on the front of the pullover is always one 4-st dec that is compensated elsewhere on the pat row by one 4-st inc. These same 4-st inc’s and 4-st dec’s form the side seam shaping, armhole and sleeve cap shaping.
  2. The fit of the pullover is close, but is an elastic fabric.
  3. Make the front first.
