A Drawer Full of Winter

This pattern is available for $6.00 USD buy it now

A collection of Wintery accessories (previously “Calidez Mitts & Hats”), now with a plain & simple sock pattern added. Collection includes Tam, beanie, mittens, fingerless mitts, and now basic socks(both toe-up & cuff-down instruction). For women & men, boys & girls, meant to showcase that gorgeous hand-spun you made, or odd ball of left over novelty yarn in your stash in most any weight. (Shown in my own funky handspun!) Fabulous for 2 sock yarns held together for soft & stretchy mitts or hat!

Features: Patterns include a gauge substitution chart for fine to bulky yarns, making a colossal range of possibilities for sizing, and for everybody! Knit in-the-round, bottom up. Mitts have narrow & wide thumb gussets for great fit, and for hats there is an option for a felted stuffed knitted bobble topper. A great choice for gifts!

Three patterns in one download: Mitts= fingerless mitts, gauntlets, mittens Hats = beanie/toque, and beret/tam Socks = basic socks, toe-up AND top-down w/ star toe and short row heel. See instructive notes for Ribbed Beanie hat HERE

Shown in my own handspun of aran-weight yarn. What will you make your Calidez Mitts & Hat with?

I invite Any & All who are knitting A Drawer Full of Winter to bring questions, comments, great tutorial links, and otherwise general related chattiness to my Jenjoyce Group which exists just for knitters of Jenjoyce’s patterns. Look for the thread for Calidez. The kettle is on… see you there !
