Bacon and Eggs
BACON AND EGGS TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! These knitted bacon and eggs make great toys, or you could use the fried egg as a pincushion, and the bacon as a bookmark!
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the bacon and eggs, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work a kfb increase and a k2tog decrease, and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of 4mm straight knitting needles (US 6)
- DK yarns (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 15g in each colour
- A small amount of toy filling to stuff the egg
