Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! These knitted bacon and eggs make great toys, or you could use the fried egg as a pincushion, and the bacon as a bookmark! Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; A few grammes in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, pins for making up, and a handful toy filling.

SIZES
One size only - The egg is 10cm wide and the bacon is 17cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
