The vest (or sleeveless cardy) is knit bottom up. The body of the knit is full (no little round bellies poking out between the fronts!), and the vest is closed with either a single button or ribbon inserted through an eyelet row (or both).
The edging is a very simple rolled edging.
The vest is perfect for wearing out to evening summer BBQs, or just mucking about outside.
It comes written for 4ply/Fingering and 8ply/DK weight yarns, and in sizes 45cm high chest circumference (approximately 6-12m) to 72.5cm (approximately 10years)

The pattern is an excellent for solid, semisolid, and variegated yarns.
