The materials you will need…

One 100g hank of Purl &Jane Yorkshire Yarn Malham Mule (one hank is enough to do the long version without a Malham Mule pom pom or the short version with a Malham Mule pompom).
Pair of 8mm knitting needles.

This fun ribbed pom pom hat uses the simple rib which means you can easily knit this pattern longer so that your hat can either have a brim, if you want it to, or if you knit the short version it becomes a fitted beanie.
I love adding a touch of colour to the hat with a pom pom, this can use oddments of other knitted things, to leave you with a hat that reminds you of all those lovely things you have made.

This hat is knitted with Malham Mule, so once you’ve finished your hat, it’ll keep you cosy and warm, just like mule sheep who live around the beautiful Yorkshire town of Malham and whose fleece has been spun into this unique yarn.
