This case features three sections of vertical cables, separated by contrast color vertical stripes. The sides of the case feature a simple Fair Isle pattern.

The case is designed to fit an iPad, but it can easily be adjusted to fit other tablets.

The recommended yarns are by no means required -- feel free to use any yarn of a similar weight!

The case is made in three pieces: a front/back piece and two identical side pieces.

I wrote the pattern for two colors, but you can include more. For example, consider making the alternate color for each side piece different from the alternate color used on the front/back piece.

In the pattern, I described the middle stripes as being worked using intarsia. However, instead of using a separate ball of yarn for each of the two middle stripes, consider using just one ball and carry it across the wrong side between the two stripes. This should be easier, and the tug of the yarn may also cause the stripes to actually be a little more raised, for a more textured look.
