Caol is a pair of elegant slimming wrist warmers or cuffs. It incorporates a herringbone pattern on the wrist (knit in the round) and a garter stitch hand cuff which is worked back and forth and has an overlap through which your thumb can emerge.

The herringbone pattern can be knit on either dpns or circular needles (using magic loop). There are instructions for magic loop included in the pattern.

The overlaps of the two cuffs go in different directions.

Rowan Pure Wool DK is soft with great stitch definition for this project, however any other DK yarn which achieves the tension/gauge required would be suitable.
