My 2 year old nephew loves to run around the house making monkey sounds. I designed this pattern so he could monkey around in style.

This pattern can be made in any colour you want. It makes a great gift and it is so quick to crochet up that I finished it in a day. The secret? A big hook! Enjoy.

Directions are given for sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 3-5 years.

Special Stitches / Directions:

Circle

Make a circle with about 15cm of the tail of yarn.

Make the circle so that the tail end of the yarn crosses behind and to the right of the ball end of your yarn, and hold onto the point where it crosses.

Take your hook, insert it into the centre of the loop, hook the working strand of yarn and pull it through to the front.

To tighten up the circle after working stitches, pull the tail end of yarn.
