Just as Cinderella rose from rags to riches, so this tunic shifts from lacy tatters around the hem to beaded opulence at the neckline. With colours reminiscent of still-glowing embers and delectably soft yarn, a fairytale ending is guaranteed!

The bodice is worked holding one strand of handspun mohair together with one strand of bamboo; the skirt is knit using the mohair alone, for a very light, floaty effect. It is worked from the top down in one piece, with the collar joined as you go afterwards, so there is no seaming involved. Beads are added to the collar as a final touch. Very basic crochet skills are required.

Yarn requirements:
Jenspun – roughly 400 (400, 400, 500, 500)yds;
Serina – MC: 220 (220, 220, 330, 330)yds;
CC: 100yds for all sizes.
